A Change In Circumstances

I have changed to degree level. The paperwork is being processed and I have joined the next class up for Theology. I am no longer doing New Testament Exegesis - Gospel of John but am enrolled to do Church History (1500s - present day) as a distance subject. I would have preferred to do history up till 1500s first but it's a blessing to do any study. I think it's offered next semester so if I survive this one I may attempt it.

Another Greek exam is looming - Friday 11th of March. It's also the day I give my first devotion at dinner. We have one every night before we eat as part of our outreach. A lot of students who live here aren't Christians but they live here because it's heaps cheaper than living at the secular uni next door.

I'm not getting a whole lot of sleep these days. If I'm blessed I get about 6 hours. I've been finding it hard to settle at night because everything is so exciting and my brain is processing so much. I try to get up at around the same time every morning and I've got a routine happening but I'm starting to feel worn out.

On Saturday night I had a jam session with 3 of the other students. We all had a go on the piano at some stage and the sharing of instruments was prevalent. The I had great fun teaching Henry to play my violin, which is a 3/4 size so it was a bit small, but the highlight was Caleb singing Pie Jesu with me. I must also give the credit to Tim as he first suggested we should get together.

I'm still looking for a Bible study to join and I plan to visit a church this weekend. I don't want to make any rash decisions because there are many things to consider: Theology basis, time, place, study load, people, style/type of study and so on. Normally there aren't enough decent churches/groups to choose from but in this case it seems there are too many! Praise be to God for His blessings and provisions.
